WE ARE THE CROOKED PLACE

To the reasoning mind, or the material mind, an exchanged mind is upside-down...senseless it seems...reasonably, just wrong. 

The answer is to let it be reasonably wrong which is precisely how we make our U-turn...away from self back to Self. It takes our many mistakes, missteps, errors in judgment to step out onto the long road toward acceptance of that exchanged mind...it feels threatening, doesn't it? 

Yet once this truth enters our consciousness, once it finds its roots, our fight is over. We are home free. 

Except. Only. Yes, but....reasoning mind, married to ego, does not give up without reasoning mind proof of purchase. That, then, is the necessary invitation for our still more spiritual growth to begin to pay off. We experience God intervening in our life in our behalf by the blinding flash: We are the source of all our woes. 

It probably takes the rest of our conscious life to fully realize, to walk it in real time, that our resistance to you, to them, to it....to the other, any other...is our angel working for us...in our behalf. 

How often we say that, God is working in our life in our behalf, never recognizing that any apparent snag is our angel sent from God in our behalf. Comes the hammer: Not to set the other straight, but to set us straight...we are the crooked place that God goes before to straighten. The crooked place is our answered prayer.

I'm beginning to believe the put-down, get over yourself, is a spiritual axiom for that is the all of it...and surely a shortcut to God. Maybe the surest...only?...way to God. Speaking of an exchanged mind.

We must go beyond reason to love.
