TRUTH MUST BE PROVED

I will never be free of me until without conscious thought my life proves every spiritual thought I have, every word I write.

The spiritual life asks that we have naught but loving thoughts...not to impress nor to make friends but to have within ourself love and love alone for the scavengers of our soul. It is not to make a friend of our enemy...it is to make a friend of our feelings about our enemy. Ah, there be the scavengers, our ego-based feelings.

We are learning to recognize and welcome our feelings of all alone and forsaken as the fear that is God's calling card....God's calling card, our assurance that all is well as we walk through the fear to get to the other side to God.

We resist not the periods when we feel wrong and wronged, abandoned and forsaken for those are the blocks we have been gifted to use in building our foundation of peace...the peace that passes understanding.

I will never be free of me until without conscious thought my life proves every spiritual thought I have, every word I write. Ah, but I take comfort in knowing I'm heading in the right direction.
