I shared with a friend this morning that when I come back, I want to be a rich woman with a farm and as many dogs, et al., as want to come live with me. Later, I flashed that when I come back, I want to be a spiritually rich woman with a farm and animals, etc.
A spiritually rich woman would have the realization of the need for God to care for all the animals. A rich woman would have the money to do the job. There...that's the breaker. Having money would not preclude her from having God just not the urgent need for God.
The urgent need...the fierce urgency of Now. I sometimes suspect that phrase, the fierce urgency of Now, is fear in disguise. But then they're both God's calling card so mox nix.
As long as I come back with the grace of God (and, know it or not, don't we all?), I leave my wants to him.
