OUT OF SELF INTO GOD

The fear of making a mistake is our major mistake.

I believe the mystics and the spiritual leaders when they say that there is a "spark of the divine" within each of us, that we must make contact with that divine spark.

Here's the thing...I don't think we can make contact with anything in the divine realm by shear force of will or want to. Want to helps, will doesn't.

Another paradox alert: It is our reasoning mind that steers us away from making a mistake...it is our reasoning mind that steers us toward making a mistake on purpose. The self-determined objective of both being to "get" that divine spark...never acknowledging, never recognizing that it is not up to us.

Spiritually, our self-determined objectives always oppose the will of God. If it is self-determined, it is not the perfect objective which is of God even when it is a good and right objective. Mainly because self-determined is our will, our way; God's will and way we can't even conjure up on our own.

When we pray to get, we are into self; when we pray Thank You, we are into Self. Which would explain Meister Eckhart's If the only prayer you pray in your life is thank you, that would suffice

Thank you.
