An ego-deflated person living by spiritual principles sees first the spiritual nature of everything and everyone else. That is a definition that will never fail you, always demand more of you, and give you no reasons to fight, exclude, or reject anyone. * * * The point of such a ... life is not to distinguish oneself from the ungodly, but to stand in radical solidarity with everyone and everything. -- Anonymous
There it is...my long-held, albeit seldom-remembered, guide to living a nonresistant life. Today it is clear to me that it defines radical humility...that for which I have been seeking the meaning. There it is at Matthew 7:7-8: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find...,
The radical humility is in trusting by asking, trusting by seeking, our Father's will, not our want...and trusting His knowing our need that we receive.
My today's Sermon lesson was at Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven....
Our actions are ever more important than our thoughts, our words...no matter how spiritually dressed-up we've made our thoughts, our words.
Thank you.
