Reason again feels stumped...how does one become unselfed? By going beyond reason, and that is what is known as living a circuitous life, or, more to the material mind's point, chasing one's own tail.
Moving on up, we accept this as the way of growing faith since faith is born by believing without material evidence at hand.
There's the material mind, then we move up to the spiritual (divine) mind.
Those of us just trying to live by spiritual principles get lifted into the spiritual mind on occasion, but we live in the material world.
Living in the material world with spiritual principles as our guide completes our life cycle.
