I am always gobsmacked when I stumble on proof that some former blinding flash of the obvious is a Truth. For instance, some years back, this BFO came to me: Nothing turns me to God faster than fear....which was an inner gift and is today the root of my continuing spiritual growth. Our want to have removed anything we fear is now a need to welcome our fear with thank you.  

I no longer dread my free-floating anxieties...that which I once prayed really hard for God to remove...I turn to God with my thank you and keep on truckin'.

Boiled down, that lesson opened my inner door deeper to the hallowed resist not evil. 

The spiritual realization that resisting evil invites evil is the pearl beyond price. Whatever we are feeling resistance toward...a person, a health issue, a news item...welcome it with thank you and breathe freer.

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. -- 2 Corinthians 12:9
