Blinding flash of the obvious revisited: Living our spiritual growth takes practice...every day, every single day. And every day, every single day, we will be released...whether we feel it or not.
What's the good in accepting that God is within, that the Father lives within us, if we don't step back, open up and rely on that?
In not relying, we're not accepting. We're just mouthing words, hoping we're not lying. Ah, but not trusting that we are not lying.
Our problem is that we are relying on our feeling the Father within, even when our hard-earned lesson has proved...repeatedly...that feelings are not facts. We can feel like a piece of turkey tripe but for sure we are not a piece of turkey tripe.
Think about it...what would "the Father within" feel like? What are we wanting? ...that is standing in the way of the truth. We are wanting peace, love, joy everlasting...no-hassle insurance, in fact. Think about it...lacks a tish in spirituality, doesn't it?
We may want that to be where our spiritual growth is leading us, but you can lead spiritual seekers to Truth, you just can't make them not think. And analyze. Looking it over...and over...and over. With the last word being, "Just not feeling it."
That's no doubt why living our spiritual growth takes practice...every day, every single day. Comes a minibreak, and we realize practicing spiritual growth is living it...that is our life today.
Whether we know it or not, whether we feel it or not, God is, and He loves us. All He asks is that we let Him.
Trust...just be prepared to be surprised.
