DREADED TRUTH BIRTHS GOD'S WILL

The hardest thing about the cosmic gifts we receive is remembering them...in the moment of need in particular. The moment of need is not when we want to lay it on someone who clearly needs to hear it...and from us...but when we need to use it, to DO it.

It's particularly difficult to remember God's hand is in it when we're facing a really rough life situation, say, the ill health of ourself or a loved one.

Interestingly, our fear seems to grow exponentially the less facts we have. Getting the word which is exactly that which we've dreaded can be the very release we need.

While that is often true for ourself, perversely, if it's true for our loved one, we compound our fear with another fear... as in, what can I do, how can I fix it, make it okay? And, oh yeah, what about me?

That is precisely when we most need to remember God's hand is in it...is in the dreaded truth for ourself or for our beloved, that this is our time to die, or in our fear regarding our loved one...that we are going to be left all alone.

Remembering that truth is not truth to us personally until we prove it to ourself personally, we accept this truth-proving time: Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for Thou art with me. And we are graced with the peace that comes from realizing in that moment that God's hand is in this. We know not how, but we do know all is well

Thank you.
