Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. I define Goethe's "one elementary truth" as "spiritual nature," and that term, spiritual nature, is wholly secular, has naught to do with religion, sects, denominations. It has everything to do with the unexplainable, undefinable better nature of the universe.
Being unnail-downable, I think of spiritual nature as what we have after neuroscience has explained all that is explainable...I tend to depend on neuroscience's explanations.
Spiritual nature is the unexplainable that causes all things to work together for our good. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.
It is human nature that sends the concept of spiritual nature down the rabbit hole. Face it, human nature, driven by ego, will ever claim unexplainable good as its own and for its own benefit, diminishing it in the process, probably being the root of all wars.
I believe in a Higher Power who I call "God," who is identifiable as he, she, it, you or I. I believe God is the unbound container of spiritual nature, and spiritual nature is a consciousness higher than is label-able or explainable to the satisfaction of any one.
One size fits none...nonresistance fits all.
