Actually and according to me, it's better to speak it aloud and take our lumps p.d.q. since judging in silence gets us twice or even thrice the pain. In our aim for payback by taking another down, our thoughts hurt the one we judge; we plant an ugly seed in the out-there for others to pick up; and, worst, we rest in the arrogant belief that we're above the fray for we've not spoken out loud a judgmental word.
Know this: Our judgments, spoken or silent, will return to us...like a faithful dog gone bad they will return and bite us in the bum.
Face it, ugly judgment is self-centered fear (but what other kind is there?), and I suspect that's how I came to understand that our worst fears are our best friends. Nothing makes us dig deeper for a spiritual solution than fear, and we cannot get there by self-will, only by grace and by God.
Most important is the realization that when (not if) we still feel agitated, it is not God failing us, it is God leading us deeper to his hidey-hole within.

All these things we know start with our hearing or reading something we recognize as good, and we want it. We claim it for our own...we "know" it. In fact, proving that which we think we know takes more digging, thank you, for there's the proof of our trust. Would we dig further if we didn't trust that's the way to our answer?

Follow the Leader.
Thank you.
