TURN AGAIN TO THE SERMON

When (not if) I get off base, these few facts are my reminders to turn again to the Sermon: 

1. Our attempts at control bring us to the same place...loss of control.
2. Our enemies are our angels in disguise.
3. Our enemies are not always people, e.g., anxiety, depression...they are still angels in disguise.
4. Our reactions determine our happiness...or unhappiness.
5. The mud we sling is the mud that lands in our own face.
6. Our treatment of others is the treatment we receive from others.
7. The more we give, the more we get...of anything.
8. Praying for anything is a denial of God's grace which met all our needs before birth; they are within us waiting to be used.
9. Praying for wants is futile but harmless.
10. "If 'Thank You' is the only prayer we ever say, it will suffice." -- Meister Eckhart
