It stands to reason that our walking-around self will be as adversely affected by our careless disregard of Nature as are life's necessaries...air, earth, forests, and oceans.
Ah, but never forget...the Law, i.e., Justice.
Lies are accepted...lies from once good and honest people are accepted by once good and honest people. Crippling the judicial system is accepted as the new...and acceptable...way to govern. Money and more money is the determiner of right or wrong...they who have enough money (albeit there is no enough) are right, those who don't are wrong.
Nature's laws are unforgiving...obey them or die in out-of-control forest fires, thousand-year hurricanes, sink-holes swallowing whole roads...self-invited destruction.
Then, too the laws of justice are unforgiving. The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine.
Spiritual laws on the other hand are forgiving; they just feel unforgiving when we disobey them.Take for instance, love your enemy. If we don't, it's fight time! Which never has a good ending for one side in particular but almost invariably it turns out that the other side...the apparent winner...seldom stays the winner. Up becomes down, vice versa, so why not agree with your adversary quickly and save the hassle.
You may say I'm a dreamer...But I'm not the only one...Join me, and the world can be as one. -- "Imagine" by John Lennon
Thank you.
