A WANT vs. A NEED...OUR WILL vs. GOD'S WILL

According to me, the biggest, deepest secret in life is just this: That which we fear births our ticket to ride...to ride to freedom from self.

Ah, but the ride is the key, and that marks the difference between a want and a need. A want is ego-driven, and we can go to our grave trying to get it; a need is of God. always granted, but only after we have failed...usually repeatedly.

That space between a want and a need is our secular want becoming our spiritual need. It is painful, it is not ours to do, it is ours to receive. There is the source of our pain: Trying to get...that which is already ours.

We can know that from our eyebrows up, which does not do a lick of good until we experience it through our own spiritual awakening...God's will, God's way, God's time.

We go to God for God and that is all.
