A friend of mine is an adamant atheist which unbelief I do not touch...mainly because I'm sure that we do not need to believe in God for Him to love us, to take righteous care of us, so my friend's safe.
The fact is that trying to make someone believe in God is akin to trying to make somebody love us...it cannot be done. Ah, but we have gratitude...I suspect everybody believes in gratitude, they've just not learned to rely on it.
Remember upgrade our attitude, we upgrade our problem? The great lesson learning about gratitude is if we upgrade our gratitude...hey, we ain't got no problem!
I about half believe that there are only two mental blocks between us and our God: (1) our worry about the future, whether we're going to have enough of any and everything; and (2) our stewing with our past trying to figure how we can make it have happened better...and not lie about it.
Those two worries keep us strangers to our own life for we stay untouched by the here and now. There. The here and now, the place where God lives.
There is no God in tomorrow just as there is no God in yesterday. There is only Now, God's old home place. Where we're always welcome.
Thank you.
